The Message Viewer is for casual HL7 message inspection. It has an intuitive layout, and does text highlighting for the currently selected data element.
Despite its small size, it has a build-in reference for HL7 data elements, also supports defining your own Z-Segments and custom data types.
It has a single executable and does not require installation. You can run it off an USB key.
